Crash and Burn

from by Dylan Disaster

Sunlight's gone away,
So what's left for me?
Nothing but the darkest days,
Or so it seems.

Better watch out for me
I'm bound to be
Cast into the depths of hell
Or so it seems to me
To me it seems to be
It's empty

I couldn't slow down
Even if I knew how
So I rode until I broke down instead.

I let the wheels turn
Until I felt the rubber burn
And then, I turned them some more.

Distance is the only thing
That keeps me here
It's sad or true or both it seems
To me it seems to be
To me it seems to be
It's empty

I slid and crashed
Till' I felt the road rash.
Then, I smiled and laughed.

I can't slow down
Now that I know how
The stillness would kill me for sure.
